April Member Spotlight: Sandra’s Journey to Long-term Success
Sandra came to Elevate after training at another facility and not seeing the results she was hoping for. She had been doing primarily circuit-style classes—lighter weights with a strong cardio focus—and while that can be effective for general fitness and calorie burn, it wasn’t aligned with her goal of building muscle and improving body composition around her waist.
After an initial assessment with Wesley, we took a different and more personal approach. Wes focused on proper technique, controlled movement, and progressive strength training to build muscle. When you have specific goals like Sandra did, especially around core strength and muscle development, it’s difficult to get the level of coaching required in a class setting.
Starting with targeted personal training (3 times per week) allowed us to build that foundation properly and set her up for long-term success. Over the course of just five weeks, Sandra progressed to lifting heavier weights with confidence, and her body composition began to shift. More importantly, she developed the knowledge and structure needed to train effectively on her own.
She’s now transitioned into our Small Group Training classes, continuing to build on that foundation while staying connected to the Elevate community. This is exactly what the Elevate Reboot is about—training with purpose, building real strength, and creating lasting results.
